I only really use 3 of mine (I have a few in various states of repair), but I just give them a wipe down whenever I pick them up, and changfe strings when needed...

Not really... all I do is play them normally at home, and when a string breaks I swap the whole set and give the guitar a good cleaning.... And then swap guitars.
Almost all of them end up in the rotation every so often, so they tend to get the care they need

I usually keep one guitar of the bunch in really good shape just sitting in the case so I can play live with it at any time, and the rest of them usually have kind of older strings and maybe are a little dirtier, but not gross. When a string breaks, I replace the set.

It's no big deal keeping up a bunch of guitars, just treat them as individuals, change strings when you need to, do maintantance when you need to. Although, on the 2 guitars I use the most, those times are usually just a few days from each other.

It's a lot of work to maintain my heard. I have 22 guitars, and there are always repairs that need to be done. Here in Missouri the humidity level is always changing, and neck adjustments are a never ending thing for me.

I'm not so keen on the tone of brand new strings so I tend to go a while between changes. Due to temperature and humidity swings, I do need to tweak trussrod an intonation every so often.
It's not too much work but I must admit that it's a reason why I don't see myself going too far beyond my current herd of 8 electrics.

I've got everything setup perfectly, and most of them are in a rack-stand. I play them all, but I still have a few that I consider main guitars. Those always have fresh strings and my favorite pickups. The other guitars get a string change when they're dead sounding or broken. I'm mostly playing...

I only have four, including my acoustic, and it's not a big deal. Every spring I spend an afternoon cleaning them and doing a set-up on all of them. I clean the frets and rub them with lemon oil, polish the bodies, adjust the bridge height and intonation, adjust the truss rods, and re-string. Other than that, I do minor maintenance as required, and change the strings when they start to get cruddy.

My LP Customs refuse to stay in tune with strings that have less than say 10-15 hours on them. Considering I only get to play maybe 2-3 hours a week and I have 4 guitars I don't have to change my strings so much. maybe 4 times a year. When I change em I change em all at once and clean em up nice nice while I'm at it. I don't really have to make many adjustments on them as far as the necks or string heights. They're all pretty steady. Same as when I had 7 guitars. None of them really got a lot of play time on them so they didn't need to be fussed over so mcuh.
