I made a simple board earlier this year with a piece of wood, black paint and velcro. Recently we had our furnace maintained and I wasn't home when the guy came. My board was in front of the access door and when I went downstairs, he had laid it up against a wall on its side and most of the effects had fallen off, which I wasn't really happy about. Partly because he was an idiot and partly because the velcro turned out to be crap I guess.
What is the best thing to use, or if I'm in the right ballpark, what is a good brand of velcro? With this one, the bottom (carpet) patches stayed on the wood fine, the hooks were almost impossible to get off, but the backing on the hook side which is what I put on the pedals is what came off.
