I love it, but IMO Fender is charging way too much.

Looks good to me. Why should Fender let the other companies make them like that and sit by watching.

Get the 4 wire versions and run splits as well. Makes for an ultra versatile guitar.

Good idea. That would sound really good. But the color...I don't like it. Maybe it's just the lighting, but I think that shade of blue's too light to go well with the black pickguard. Something a bit darker might look a bit better.

should have a tele box bridge with 3 brass saddles and it should NOT be that colour...and I would want it with a maple fretboard!

Looks cheap. I think it's the color... Imagine it in blonde. needs a tele bridge. Needs a tortoiseshell pickguard. Covered pickups, and a bound neck.

i really like that guitar... not as much as the american deluxe FMTs and QMTs but i do think the solid color looks good with the pickguard.

+1, Jazz split is an amazing tone. My girlfriend's brother has that on his guitar. Too bad he can't play :laugh2: ... that's ok, cuz I do everytime I go over there :burnout:

its almost playable. I like the bridge- I hate the trad tele bridge & box, which cuts into my hand and looks terrible.
The Jazz isn't my fav neck pickup, since you can't really use it for jazz- too bright. I like the APHII.
I am all for updates on guitars though, especially for ones that make it sound better and play in tune better.

i disagree about ruining the classic

i play what's probably a similar tele, minus the pickups, and i couldn't be happier with it.

well, maybe if the neck was a '59 too, but, that's no big deal
