How does he do it?

I know I'm really risking getting a duhhh here... but did you try it with a wah-wah pedal?

Um... It appears that he unplugs his cable, and uses it to tap on his bridge in conjunction with a wah pedal and probably some sort of boost. Seems pretty self explanatory.

It seems that way til you try it.

He is tapping the input of ANOTHER amp to get the extra feedback.

ok, I have an interview from morello right here:

He was in the EU at the time and he attempted a solo like that which didn't work...

and just to clarify, he has unpluged his guitar chord and it tapping that one on the guitar...

There is however another guitar which is leaning on a speaker cabinet to get more feedback, but that's a different thing...

I found it in the "Guitarist" magazine (published in UK) issue no 282. October 2006

It's 8 pages long...

I only have 7 such magazines, you were lucky :laugh2:
