How many Zinky fans here??

From Bruce's stint with Fender in the CS to his own line in the Zinky's to his ownership of Supro how many here are into Bruce's stuff?
I as many of you know am a HUGE fan of Bruce's designs and to me nothing on the planet quite feels like a Zinky amp to me . However there is seemingly little love for his designs from most on boards like this. I have to wonder why Bruce Zinky is seemingly not held in the same regard as say Mike Soldano or Rivera ?
With Fender the big 3 for Bruce were the
Tone Master
Vibroking
Prosonic

I like his stuff, especially that little 25W gem. It's been a while since I played through one. First time was at a guitar show in Arlington, TX. I was playing a white LP Custom with gold hardware through it. I was initially checking out the LP but quickly found myself interested in the amp. It may have been a while but that amp made an impression on me. That LP Custom did as well. Just awesome.

The 25 watt Blue Velvet I take it?? If so yep I as most of you know own a 25 watt Velvet in Black Tolex. It amazes and inspires me every time it play out with it like no other amp I have ever owned has to this point!

Yup. That one. In fact, the amp I played through had the blue fuzzy velvet covering.

Zinky was responsible for the Custom Vibrolux Reverb, which is still in production today. I own one and I love it!

Re: How many Zinky fans here??

I think you guys might be tipping more to Bruce than he really was involved with ...no?

I dunno...Bruce is a good designer and I sort of dig a few of his amps but I find his amps to be sort of one trick pony amps in general...

Re: How many Zinky fans here??

I understand he was involved with the Prosonic, which has gotten more love (at least on the net, for whatever's that worth) than the new Supersonics. I've heard nothing but good things about him.

I don't think anyone's ever accused the Prosonic of being a "one-trick pony," but I'm not familiar with his more recent work.

I have been playing for 40 years and the Zinky amps are the most versatile and dynamic amps I have ever played through. You can not name many amps that I have not owned over the years and I choose to own and play mostly Zinky designs.
Yes Bruce designed the Prosonic, Tone Master, Vibro King, Custom Vibrolux Reverb, and the the Pro Juinor for Fender when he ran the Fender Custom Shop.
He now builds his own amps under his Zinky brand and also under the Supro brand.
I play Zinky amps because of what they do on stage that other amps I have owned do not.
Some live tones with the Velvet.
