How the hell do you stack a Marshall and a Mesa on the same slant cab STABLY???

....are these things *intentionally* designed to be unable to support each other????

Marshall over Mesa is kinda wobbly, and Mesa over Marshall is pretty much "one less amp in your new future"

I'd just use a ratchet tie-down strap, it doesn't look half bad either. I normally tie PA's together that way if I'm creating a small horizontal array.

You just don't. I never stacked mine at least.

I had to do this or help someone do something similar to this many times, You can use the existing 4 bolts on the top of the Mesa to build a small stabilizer for the Marshall.

Last time I saw it was done well was bolting 2 thin aluminum sliding door track pieces with big rubber angled ends to act as catches for the Marshall head to sit into nice and snug

I drew a picture to explain the solution :headbang::headbang:

But how you fix it that that wider Marshall looks so annoying perched on top of Mesa?

You can't

Because the narrow-deep Mesa won't properly seat on the wide-shallow Marshall at all

duck tape and super glue....

You fix that inside your head.

Have 2 x half stacks and add a Marshall 4 x 12?

Re: How the hell do you stack a Marshall and a Mesa on the same slant cab STABLY???

Get four more rubber feet
Put them closer to the center where they will match the corners of the Mesa

Or just move the ones on the Marshall closer

You can get taller or shorter feet

Nah...

It'd have to be a 1960BV to justify it, and even then... kinda expensive and unnecessary, already have the 65/k85 4x12 cab and a homebrew V30/C90 2x12

Basic t75 1960 or lower-end gets no respect from me... meanwhile, g12-65 loaded ones are rare and pricey and I already got a cab with two 65's... as to greenbacks, market bubble at the moment, not enough power handling with all my amps 100-150w, and I don't actually like em anyway

Re: How the hell do you stack a Marshall and a Mesa on the same slant cab STABLY???

You already have some cool speakers so just look for an empty Marshall cab.

Both the Carvin and even my homebrew are better-built though...

Re: How the hell do you stack a Marshall and a Mesa on the same slant cab STABLY???

Yeah they aren't really designed to so you're going to have to come up with either one of the solutions above or simply another cab

Re: How the hell do you stack a Marshall and a Mesa on the same slant cab STABLY???

On second thought... getting some beefier feet for the marshall might well resolve any issues
