Hello all-
I've got a JB going into a build that has 500k pots and it is possible that the combination of wood and pots could end up on the bright end of the JB spectrum.
I thought I remembered past threads that added a resister so that the JB sees 250k instead of 500, but doesn't change the pot itself so that the other pups are not impacted. I imagine this might be enough of a change for this build because I've never had a bright JB with a 250 pot.
I couldn't find the old thread, but thought that I remembered that the trick was adding a 500k resister parallel to the JB and that 500/2 would give the JB a total of 250- but if that was the trick, I haven't been able to make it work--
Can someone confirm this is possible and how it is wired?
Much appreciated!
Mickey
