how to setup a stereo setup?

I decided to run my amps in stereo today for the first time. Everything sounds good but I am having an issue with my delay pedal. I am new to setups like this but from what I read it seems pretty simple. But aparently I did something wrong. I am only getting a delayed sound from one amp even in ping pong mode. My signal chain is guitar>tuner>ds1>delay one output goes to my vox the other goes to a randall. But I only get a delayed tone iut of the randall. The sound that comes through the vox is dry.
What should i check first? From everything i read and watched it should be working.

What delay? Some are wet/dry, some are ping pong, some are "stereo". Yours may be configurable.

Stereo Chorus and Reverb are two other methods to create stereo.

It's a tc flashback triple delay. It has mono and stereo in's and out's. The only setting I have changed are flipping the internal switch to buffered bypass. From what the manual says it should be set up from the factory to do ping pong delay with 2 amps as long as I am on that setting. But it doesn't work either.

I used an ABY pedal
to split the signals left and right
then a delay into only one amp

because, as Steve Vai says, it ain't stereo if you run the same signal into both amps
its just two amps

Doesn't he split with a stereo chorus, then add a delay to each side, with different delay times?

With some dual input, dual output, delay devices, it is important to use the correct input jack for mono sources. The routing of the outputs ought to be programmable or selectable from the controls. For devices with multiple patch storage, the output configuration may need to be set per patch rather than globally.
