How to wire my esquire!

Re: How to wire my esquire!

Okay, thanks for all the help jeremy! Really appreciate it.

The last question I'll EVER ask.

I'm gonna get a 0.015 for a cocked wah sound as well as the 0.022 for the std bassy setting. What sorta outcomes will happen if i try say a 0.033 and a 0.01. Will i get an extremely bassy setting and a really trebly cocked-wah sorta sound?

Re: How to wire my esquire!

Double-checking. On the TDPRI forums, people seem to be using 0.0047 for the cocked-wah sounds and even 0.0033? Any comment regarding this.. I'm not too sure what's the normal one to start from.

Re: How to wire my esquire!

the .01 might be cool, you need to play around with that value to get the cocked wah tone you are looking for, you could go down .001 if you wanted but i dont know if that will do much but take the very high end off. start with .015 or .01 and see what you think of the tone, if you want more highs then lower the value, less highs raise the value.

the .033 will be less bright than the .022 which is already pretty bassy.

Re: How to wire my esquire!

So i'll try 0.015 to start off with, but not going more than 0.022 for the standard bassy sounds, but I'll go down and try 0.0047 and even 0.0033 just to see what it's like.

I think that info is good enough for me to go and experiment myself.

Thanks so much jeremy, you cleared a lot of confusion I had in my head!

Ben
