Hey guys,
Thinking of changing out the stock pups on my Ibanez RG1570. I play mostly heavy rock/metal and am looking for a bit of a riff monster as opposed to anything especially for lead work. The guitar is a H-S-H, basswood body with a maple/walnut neck. So far I like the sound of the PATB-2 in the bridge, but with possibly something like the SH-PG1 in the neck position. I have not yet looked into a possible middle pickup although I don't often use my current one so may leave stock in for the time being. How does this sound? Any suggestions or ideas?
