How would you hot rod this???

Re: How would you hot rod this???

Because Kahler looks ugly. I like a Floyd on my guitar even though my style doesn't need it, cause it looks very cool especially the protruding screws on OFR.

? They function and sound great, at least as I recall. And they seemed to be easier to intone and change strings on. Beauty is Truth.

I think intonating with a Floyd isn't that hard. Changing strings however... yeah.

Re: How would you hot rod this???

Kahlers have got pretty much everything on Floyds, in the technical sense. Everything is adjustable, and very easily so. They are very well engineered (i.e. "thought out"). They do feel much different, though. They are tighter and more controlled vibratos. More "conservative," you might say. They are a mix of Bigsby and Fender Mustang styles of vibrato units, only extremely well engineered. Floyds, OTOH, are generally "springier" and "floatier" feeling, more like a traditional Strat vibrato.

Deep metal flake purple, almost transparent silver ghost flames, a bigsby and a whole lot of chrome.

I love both FR and kahler, I find kahler to be technically superior somewhat, however my biggest complain t is that the rolling saddles start to rust early with sweaty palm mute s of u don't keep them oiled or cleaned.
