HSS pickup fender/SD thin sound issue question

I think this has something to do with wiring, but I cannot find how to fix it. I have Fender Gen4 Noiseless single coils in Neck and Middle positions, and SD P-rail as bridge humbucker.

When I have a combination of either single coil with the humbucker, the sound is very thin, almost like a slight wah effect (which is kind of interesting . . . I may keep it).

I think it has something to do with the winding of the coils, but I cannot remember how to fix it. Can anybody help?

Thanks, Y'all,
Jon

The P-Rail is out of phase with the Fenders

You will have to swap the hot and ground on either the Fenders or the P-Rail.

out of phase! Yes! I could not remember the word "phase." I kept thinking polarity . . .

I see Mincer reminded me of the fix below. Since my Fender pickups are 3 conductor, I'll swap the P-rail hot and ground to avoid confusion.

Thanks y'all!

Re: HSS pickup fender/SD thin sound issue question

So given this diagram, I have tried to figure out what exactly to do . . . The p-rail goes first to the coil splitter, then hot goes to the blower switch. I see that the Bare wire and Green wire (grounds) goto the upper left lug (then over to a ground), and the black wire (hot from p-rail) goes to upper right lug. the commons are red and white wires.

Do I simply put the black wire, and the jumper to the blower switch to the upper left, and the bare and green to the upper right (along with the wire from green/bare to a ground)? Or do I simply reverse green/bare and black (leaving the ground from upper left lug, and jumper to blower from upper right lug)?

I THINK IT'S THIS ONE: Or, do I simply reverse the green wire and the black wire so that the upper left is now Black and Bare (then out to ground), and upper right lug is now green wire that then goes to blower switch?

I think it is the last one, but I have opened and closed my pickguard so many times that some of the screw holes are nearly stripped, so I am hesitant to experiement too much more; I have only been putting in a couple of screws when experimenting -- those are the nearly stripped holes (I'll put a little drop of wood glue in there when I get this done, let it dry, then re-tap the holes. .. unless there's a better way).

Thanks everybody,

P-Rail: Black and bare to ground, green to hot. But position 1 and 3 on the coil splitter switch are swapped afterwards.
