HSS: which humbucker with 2 fender alnico5 sc

Hi all,
I need your suggestions to choose a *perfect* humbucker.
Guitar: mahogany+ maple/rosewood neck (22 frets, WIlkinson vs100).
SSH combo pickups:
- in the neck a rw/rp fender alnico 5 american series (delta tone? I don't remeber..);
- another fender alnico5 american series in middle

Which SD pickup in the bridge?

I play a little bit of blues, rock, pop, hard rock (no heavy, grunge etc.)

I want a balanced pup: no too bass or too high o middle freq. and without a unbalanced volume vs sc fender (6,5K).
I thinked to a JB, but I don't know with mahogany and fender pups...
PG it's a valid alternative?

Last Knopfler, first Van Halen.. but I would not have *a sound like*, I wish have my sound.
I use different ampli, all tube:
- Blackheart combo 7/15W
- Peavey Classic combo 50/212
- Full stack EVH 5150 - first release -

Either PG or Demon. FS, C5, or CC for a hotter option.

Good question. I don't really have anything to add other than I'm in a similar boat and am curious about the responses. My guitar is a little different but bottom line is I'm good with the singles but the 'bucker could use work. Custom Custom is frequently recommended but I'm not sure why.

JB intrigues me
But changing body wood (alder, no mahogany) I would not that a JB will be too bright in bridge...

I suggest the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates Plus. (Available only through Fender!) It has the extra push you desire but is still in balance with the single coils.
