Huff wiring question

This has probly been asked a million times but I havnt found it. I have 2 vintage hot stack plus for neck and middle and a SH-4 JB Humbucker for the bridge. The Tyler wiring diagram shows the green and bare wires ground to the back of volume pot........The stacks dont have green wires, so its just the bare wire for them?

and the pre amp bypass button, I was just gonna use a mini toggle (since those buttons are hard to find)....... is it an on-on switch?

Thanks for your help. I am by no means a wizard at this, but can follow a diagram and instructions.

a schematic would help

in general for the stack+ models, white is hot, black is ground (bare wire always gets grounded) and red is the coil split which i never use these days. there is a subtle difference when split, but not enough for me to really care, ymmv

This is what I was looking at,.....I just figured it wires like this just with no green wire for the neck and middle since it doesnt have them. Just wanted to make sure Im correct. Thanks!

on the old stacks, the black is hot, green is ground and the red/white is the series connection.

no, stack+ is different as i said. that "diagram" you showed isnt complete. its missing a lot of connections as far as i can tell.

the black wire needs to be grounded, like the green is.

what are those switches supposed to do?

yes it isnt complete there is another page, i was just showing the one with the pu's on it. the dtdp switches are series, split, parallel . amd there is one more for a mid boost bypass switch..
