Hughes & Kettner Statesman amps

So, has anyone tested these ? There's one used deal here in Finland and I think it could be very cool, even though it's the 40 W QUAD, I'd rather take the 20 watt version, plenty of power in that also.
If someone doesn't know, it's a tube amp with two channels and four modes, and H&K sais that:
Clean has british clean and "Twang" makes it California sounding.
Crunch channel has boost which increases the gain a little.
Nothing high gain here, it's just basically Fender cleans, brittish (vox etc) cleans, and brit crunch with a boost. Just country/blues/rock/hard rock sounds.

Thanks for the GAS ... :(

Some day, I'll get a nice, clean-oriented Tube Amp... This is on the list. :) The 20W, probably.

And it's not only the sound, these things are GORGEOUS:

Yes, they are beatiful. I'd be very pleased if someone who has tested one would tell about it. But obviously nobody has.

Re: Hughes & Kettner Statesman amps

Good luck finding much info on it. A) It's a Hughes & Kettner - nice amps from my experience, but not well known (owned a Triamp Mk 1 for a year) and B) The Statesman must be a new amp because I've never heard about it before this thread.
