Hum bucket ID help

This pickup came out of a late 80’s Burny LPC. Not sure if it is original as I can’t seem to ID it. What manufacturers used a baseplate like this with two holes for the lead on either side of the plate? One has a red wire the other has a blue wire.

Re: Hum bucket ID help

Welcome to the forum!

It looks like a cheap Asian-made pickup to me.

Re: Hum bucket ID help

Well it came out of Japanese LPC but its definitely not a Burny. I've been scouring google and looked up every Asian pickup ( Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and the closest thing that resembles it is a Maxon. They measure 8.14 and 8.47 and I'm 90% sure they're not potted. And they sound really good. I've been through all kinds of pickups EVH, Gibson, SD, Suhr, sheptone, OX4 etc and they don't sound like epiphones. Like a 500T with less compression. IDK? It's going to drive me nuts if I can't get a positive ID LOL!
