Humbucker for Classic Vibe Telecaster

Hello all, I have a 50's Classic Vibe Telecaster with Alnico III's. The neck pickup area is routed for a full-size humbucker, and I'm looking for something that would be a good match for the Alnico bridge. Looking for warmth, and don't know anything about power output. Antiquity?

The Antiquity is a fantastic pickup. It is somewhat warm, but has some grit to it. So you have other options like the 59 or A2P if you really want it warm.

Thank you. Any worries about power balance?

Thats always the issue. In fact the Les Paul Deluxe style minihumbucker wind is actually better as a match to a Tele bridge - both in output and also in tonality.

I don't know about the output on your bridge pickup, but a Seth Lover in the neck of a Tele is always a good choice if the bridge pickup can keep up with it, the Seth is PAF style, so that shouldn't be to tough.

I paired one with a Jerry Donahue bridge pickup for what was at first supposed to be a Micawber replica. I had the neck pickup put in backwards, but other than that there ended up being few similarities.

But one thing you can do, especially of there is a big tonal gap on your pickups is to lower the polepieces on the humbucker. This will drop pickup output and get you closer to a single coil neck tone. Screw the polepieces all the way in and you'll get a tone not unlike a cross between a really fat Strat pickup and a p90.
