Humbuckers in Standard HH Strat

I just recently purchased the hot rodded set which includes the SH-4JB and the SH-2N model humbuckers. I was going to install them on my Epiphone Les Paul but it went bust so I decided to keep them for another guitar. Recently on my mind has been a Double Humbucker Stratocaster, but will these pickups fit on one of those? From the picture and how the screws are mounted on the pickguard it seems like the Strat HH is packing Trembuckers and not humbuckers. This is what I mean: <a href = "http://image.www.rakuten.co.jp/gakkiten/img10401423269.jpeg">!!!</a>. There are two screws one one side of the humbucker and one screw on the other. So will the SH-4 JB and SH-2N fit in a standard mexican double humbucker strat?

welcome to the forum!!

yup, they should fit fine. you might have to drill a hole for the bass side pup screws but they will fit. the trembucker might line up better in the bridge but the standard spaced should work fine.

It will work, but like Jeremy said, the trembucker lines up better with trems than does the standard SH model.

thank you! Thanks for the info...but will the regular humbucker in the strat have different effect on tone than the trembucker?

All things being equal, your outside strings might be a touch quieter than the rest, but just adjust the polepieces so that all strings are the same volume and you'll be fine.
