I need someone to hold me because I am about to scream!
My custom Jackson arrived at my dealer today.

My dealer will ship the guitar out to me in the second week of May. I ordered some other items that he still does not have in stock so I need to wait for a bit longer. I will take pictures myself when I get the guitar.
So far, here are the pictures my dealer took:

Wow, that's awesome! What did it set you back? I didn't know you worked
for a roofing company. :laugh2:

Re: Humphrey Bear Jackson Signature model (Finished pics!!)

Nice axe, Humphrey. If she plays and sounds as well as she looks (and considering she´s a USA Jackson she almost certainly will ;)), you´ll love her :smoker:

Re: Humphrey Bear Jackson Signature model (Finished pics!!)

i'd like to try out a scalloped fretboard once...

nice one =) but if i got one of those.. i'd get a crimson swirl, that looks too good to be true

Cool guitar! I have a friend that can do custom air brush work on guitars that I also recommend.

check out Daneen's artwork at

http://customairbrush.com/

she can do JR Geiger stuff, eyeballs, flames, you name it!

Re: Humphrey Bear Jackson Signature model (Finished pics!!)

DUDE! that guitar ****ing rules! where did you get the design for it??

Re: Humphrey Bear Jackson Signature model (Finished pics!!)

Hi everybody,

Thanks alot for your replies. I am glad you all liked the guitar. When I get it I will take high resolution shots with my own digital camera and
up-load them here as soon as possible. I expect to have the guitar in the second week of May. I ordered some tuners and knobs that my dealer does not have in stock yet and he is waiting for them to arrive so that he can ship everything at once.

Gearjoneser: Since I live in Germany I also have to pay German tax and customs. Including tax, shipping and customs the guitar cost me about 3300 Euros which is about 3950 USD. It's the 16% German tax, 3.7% customs and 270 Dollar shipping rate that makes it expensive. But still it's much cheaper for me to order from the states than from a German guitar store. A custom made ESP with average specs will cost in Germany around 6600 USD which is absolutely insane compared to what I am paying for my Jackson.

JammerMatt: Thanks alot Matt! I appreciate that. :)

HardRockSinger: Yeah the painted pickups play a big role in making the graphic look good. The pickups are actually not painted by default with that graphic, it's something I had to choose and it was worth it. Without painted pickup covers it would definitely not look as good.

ex-250: An EMG 85 and 60 is a good alternative to the 85/81 and 81/81 combos. So far I have never owned a guitar with EMGs. My Jackson Kelly has custom made active Seymour Duncans and it will be interesting to see how the EMG 85/60 combo compares to those.

Metalman_666: The Adrenalize graphic is a graphic that Jackson Guitars offer. If you look on their custom quote form at their website:
http://www.jacksonguitars.com/resources/custshopquote/

You can see that they have a long list of graphics that they offer and that's how I came across the Adrenalize design. I didn't know what it was at first until I saw the design in the Custom Shop archives section at the Jackson website and when I right-clicked on the name I found out from the file name that it was the Adrenalize graphic and from then on I was just hooked. I had to have that. But normally it's only done over a black base, at least by default. This is the first time they did that design on a Candy Apple Red body.

WAAAAITAMINIT, you live HERE, in Germany??? I think you better plan a trip down south towards Freiburg sometime soon ;) :friday:

Man, if I knew it would cost you so much for taxes, shipping, etc, I would've volunteered to pick it up, come to Germany, and sort of "forget it" at your place. Always looking for an excuse to travel

Sounds like a good idea. Well they have not shipped it yet so it might work. :)
Or the alternative would be for me to fly to New York and pick it up from my dealer and then take it back. Either way would probably be cheaper.

IMO that really sets out this guitar. I feel that the stock adrenalize on the black has become pretty much a generic graphic and it doesn't really stand out that much to me. But done on the CAR .... man that looks slick

Nice axe man!
