HW Bassman and Vox Valvetronix in stereo!

Really a fluff post here, but I just had a lot of fun doing something I should have thought of a long time ago. I've got a hand wired 59 Bassman circuit amp in a tweed 2X12 combo. Kinda like a Bassman twin if you will, lol. I've also got the Vox AD60VTX 112 combo amp. I was noodling around with the Bassman when I had the "brilliant" idea of plugging the guitar into channel one, high input and running the low input into the Vox. Just like daisy chaining Marshalls or jumping channels. Worked great! I made up a bassman patch on the Vox with some delay, reverb and the tube screamer and kept the Bassman around 3 to keep it pretty clean. Whipped out my strat and was in blues and rock heaven, haha. Lotta fun and you don't need a pedal to do it. I love amps you can daisy chain with. This opens up a whole new mess of things I can do really with different patches on the Vox mixed with the Bassman, which does blues to the T and with my Plexitone, hits Marshall territory hard. I love finding new toys within the toys I already have! Basically I just love guitars and amps soooooooo much.

Sounds like fun. When I have time on weekends, I try to mess around with my gear also.

Come to think of it, my setup can be used similarly. I sometimes use my Vox ToneLab as a preamp into my amp head, which is like a modified '59 Bassman copy, and through my 2x12 cab. But right now I have my 4x10 cab hooked up.
