The fact that the 59 and the JB that guy is selling were wound by MJ (hence the J designation) is worth it alone. I think it would be easier, though, to fix them and sell them than to make hybrids out of them (the differnence between the DD and JB is an Alnico 5 magnet, I couldn't imagine what a 59/JB hybrid would sound like) If you were able to fix the pickups, you could probably get $50-$60 per pickup, with the exception of the Dimarzio and the gibson. But that's still a profit of about $170 when it's all said and done.

jb/59 might be cool, but you might need to do a de-mud mod on it if it got too boomy
