HZ and Invader?

What would a EMG HZ-3 sound like with an Invader in a Jackson dinky? ALDER BODY AND ROSEWOOD FRETBOARD.

it will probably sound worse then with the HZ4? in the bridge. The invader is going to sound awesome and make the emg sound worse. I ran into this problem with the dimarzios in my Music Man Petrucci. the bridge pup sounded great but the neck was horrible. I put a Jazz in the neck and that made the bridge sound crappy(warmth of the duncan vs. hi fi sound of dimarzio i guess). Then i put a demon in the bridge the other day and what a difference....

Okay I can change them I have only one free neck pup which is a demon. so i could take the hz 3 out and put in the demon would that work?


The only problem I have is that it's red and it might look weird. But as long as it sounds good what the hell.

if you are unhappy with the sound of the hz after installing the invader then go ahead and try the demon. I was just saying that a great pickup can make an ok pickup sound like crap. If the emg works with the invader just leave it in for now
