I love how you've created a veritable museum of oft forgotten tube amps. You took that concept all the way, and all I think when I see your threads is.......man, I wish I lived close enough to come over and check it out.
I've maybe plugged into a few of the amps you own, but most of them have eluded me, probably because my instinct is to gravitate toward known classics. You went the other direction and it's fascinating to me......especially since you brought them all to their full potential, while most examples have hit land fills by now. Cool collection!

I have gone full bore into the off brands, aside from a Bassman, and a couple Laney's ( if it could even be called a name brand) I am all about the nooks and crannies of tone. I sold off 2 Hiwatts, a few Plexi RI heads, I think it is simply that I have heard those tones every which way, they are splendid, BUT there is a certain magic running a Carlsbro head through a PV cab, that continues to inspire me. It is fun stuff, and as an addict of TONES vs tone, this approach has served me well.
