Arrived today, and I would compare it to any custom shop guitar I have owned period. I want to thank Mike (xssive) for making this happen exactly the way I wanted. It was worth the wait.

Really nice! Gonna start putting some together and hope at least one turns out as nice as this one, wow!

Re: I bet you don't have one of these

You're gonna hafta start playing it behind your head ala Jimi to show off that beautiful birdseye neck!

Re: I bet you don't have one of these

Suhr, eat your heart out.

My kind of superstrat: top mounted Floyd, oiled neck, big square heel, ebony, no inlays on the front of the neck. Dayum, son.

Bet it sounds killer with the AT and HFH pups. Interesting combo - don't think I've seen anyone use them together.

The dressing of the trem cavity and coating it with shielding paint is another big +1.

Re: I bet you don't have one of these

Nope, I don't have one. ;) Beautiful, what a wonderful superstrat.

Don't show it to Aceman though, it doesn't say Hamer or Charvel on the 'stock so he won't like it. ;)

Re: I bet you don't have one of these

Wow, mike knocked that one outta the park! [whoops didn't notice it has locking nut - disregard statement about locking tuners].

Don't concern yourself with Jerry.

He would drunkenly put himself in debt for one of those for $9,000 any day of the week.

They might look small looking straight onto the fretboard due to them being somewhat narrow, but those frets are actually quite tall (.055"), Jescar's 6105 equivalent and the 3rd tallest fretwire Jescar have on offer. I do prefer slightly wider frets because sliding is more comfortable, but 55090s are great for string bends and vibrato
