I bot one of these Strat 7 way Harnesses Just now

IM getting near the end of my Start assembies, and I figured, If I buy the parts, and then tech it to a tech to wire up, it'll be over 50 bucks.
Now, I usually wire all my Strats( or have them wired) with vintage cloth wire, but for this last (ive heard that be4)Start assembly, I thought it would be groovy to have a 7 way switch, and on top of that, 32.00 was about the best price Ive seen for a CTS Harness with a good qulaity switch.
About the 7-way..I once made a mistake wiring up a Strat and all three pickups wrere on, and it sounded interesting. Plus this will get the bridge/neck, which is supposed to sound teleish.
Best part is I can hook it up meself I believe, it does come with 'structions.
In the end I'll save some money and have a uniqie sounding Strat.
I did order some vinatge cloth wire fro cheap, and may change the wire out to vintage cloth.
Buy one of these. 2 left. I did.;\

What does the 7-way switch do? Allows for all-on and neck / bridge? 'Cuz that's pretty cool.

Yeah Pockets. I thought so too bro.And not a bad price. Ive seen some plain wired harnesses going for 60 bucks.

Personally, I'm not really a 2-tone guy so I just took the neck tone out, wired the middle tone as universal and put a mini-switch that when on it connects the neck and bridge in parallel so than when EITHER one is on on the 5-way, BOTH are on, effectively doing that same thing (but with much simpler operation since when on, both the 1 and 5 and the 2 and 4 do the same thing).

Personally I love it, using the neck+bridge is a very cool, very usable sound both for clean and slightly overdriven tone and the all-3 can be cool for some more harp-like passages!

I did the same thing to my Strat more or less. I pulled the rear tone pot and installed a toggle for a bridge on switch so I can have bridge+neck or all three on at the same time.

Since I have humbuckers in my Strat I also added a series/parallel switch between the tone pot and the bridge on switch for a Strattier tone in the #4 position.
