I love the bare back with the black top. That is classy. If it was '50's style I'd probably find something to sell in order to get one.

Does it have the scaled-down V body?

It'd look really hot with a b/w 2-ply or 4-ply guard (black on the top, white on the bottom)

It is a normal sized V body.

Not changing the pickguard & the top isnt black.

Its the Flash, angle and proximity to the guitar.

The pickguard is 2 layers, a cream colored first layer and a bevelled clear top layer.

Weird ! It does look like it gets thicker from the bridge to the last fret on the neck (in the last picture). Probably is the flash and angle.

I'm not sure. They are made of some sort of steel and when I push the string against them notes come out.

Cool guitar. It's one of the classiest V's I've seen. I like the look of bound bodies on all Gibsons.

Didn't you buy a Dethklok Explorer recently? I'll bet they make a nice pair.

I wasn't trying to talk you into changing the p/g. I was rhetorically commenting on what I thought might look good.

The top is black in the photos, and it looks good, hence the comment. I know it isn't black in reality; you said that, as does the spec sheet.

Since my earlier photos dont show the colour properly I pulled out the camera and used a little
morning light to photograph the guitar again.

This set shows the colour much better.
