that's cool.. how was it in comparison to a SH6?
I'm curious about the neck because what I've read is that it has a DC reading of 7~8k - so it's obviously not similar to a SH-6n
I thought that the 103 set was based off the Jazz neck for the neck pickup at least. I put a 103n in a Jay Turser LP copy paired with a Duncan Distortion in the bridge and it sounds great!
The HB103N is wound with AWG#42 wire. The SH-6n is wound with AWG#43 wire, that alone explains the different DC reading.I'm curious about the neck because what I've read is that it has a DC reading of 7~8k - so it's obviously not similar to a SH-6n
Well, at least it's what they said they were modeled after.I'm pretty sure the HB-103's are the Distortion set.
Yes. It's around 5,200 turns of AWG#42 SPN per bobbin.the HB103N has a regular ceramic stock, correct?
It is NOT. It's #AWG43. I didn't catch the error until now.I didn't know the SH-6n was 42awg,
AWG#44.What's the SH-6b wound with?
