I built a pedal board today.

In my defense:
1. I was inspired by the pedal board threads.
2 I didn't want to spend 90 bucks on something comparable.
3. I'm quarantined here at home because my kid has Covid.
4. This only cost me about 17 bucks and a couple hours of my time.

I bought 2 boards from the hardware store a 1x4 and a 2x6

Cut slats to a random 26" wide
Guesstimated the 2x6 cut and then diagonals to make them the same.
Sanded the boards. Predrilled and screwed holes as I kept squaring it up.
Then I just stained it with minwax walnut something or other that I had in the garage.

I'm rather pleased with myself. Going to give it time to dry and then add pedals.

Nicely done. Been a long time since I made my own. The current one I have was free so I didn't have to make one, though the thought crossed my mind.

So my buddy builds his on a Tupperware lid
so he can snap the big part on like a cover whem loading

Brilliant!

Some years back I made one out of a 9x16" Cuisinart cutting board. I still have it actually. Bonus is it has a built in handle.
