I cant make up my mind!

So heres the deal. I have an upgraded epiphone les paul and a marshall avt50 amp. Im looking to spend $1000 dollars be it a new guitar or a new amp. As far as a guitar goes i am set on a brand new 05' American Strat that I could get for $875. On the other hand I could get one of the new vox ac30ccs for $1000. Please help me decide!

What sort of music are you into? I don't like the LesPaul / Vox combination myself - I'd go for the strat. Your marshall will keep you on a "rock" grounding, but the strat and LP will give you very different sounds. That's my 2 cents anyway!
