I wasn't really looking for another guitar, but I fell in love when I saw this one. You just don't see many R7 bursts, and this one had a gorgeous plain top. Some new Curt Mangan string (not my signature set, but I like John's specs) and she's ready for practice and rehearsal.

The previous owner had yanked the BB1/BB2 set and put in a pair of 57s. The BB1 and BB2 are back in, but I'm waiting for a BB3 to arrive in the mail. I just need a little more heat in the bridge.

To his ears, through his amp, the music that he was playing sounded better with 57s. Honestly, they didn't sound bad at all in the guitar I just prefer the BB pickups.
