I've got some money recently since I've passed my matura exams pretty good :smokin:
So here's the deal... I think that buying a new guitar wouldn't hurt much, but I don't know what would suit me best.
I've already got Epi G400 with '59A4/C8 and Gibby SG with A5 Phat Cats. And I'm playing on Peavey Classic 30, but I will have to replace it (more in Amplifier Central).
I've wanted to build a guitar since I've started to play, but after some calculations and wood accessibility in Poland I've came to conlcusion that it's to pricey challange.
Since I'm moving to flat I will be limited to probably only one guitar. So the versatility is the crucial part. However I don't want to have a competitor in every challenge, I'd rather have fewer, but more usable sounds.
Generally I play mostly classic rock, metal some stoner stuff. Think Zeppelins, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, QotSA, (I've got guitars for those), but I also adore shredders like Vai, Satch, DiMeola or McLaughlin (and not for those).
The guitar I've wanted to build in the beginning was a simple 1H 1Vol Floyded bolt on as an alternative for fixed bridge solid SGs. I've always wanted to have a guitar with tremolo bridge, but the floydy one, not the strat type trem.
To finally sum up... "I think" I want floyd equipped guitar that would be "technical playing friendly". It would be nice if the sound would be still rich and full, but articulate and easily cutting through.
So please send me your ideas. Every one of them will be welcome
BTW My price range is to around 1k$, BUT since I'm not from the US there is no strict limit for the price.
