OMG, that SG is GEORGEOUS!!! I had one in Cherry Red just like it. Had to sell it though to feed myself. That sucked. It was a great sounding guitar.

OMG, that SG is GEORGEOUS!!! I had one in Cherry Red just like it. Had to sell it though to feed myself. That sucked. It was a great sounding guitar.

Wow! Sometimes I wish I still had mine but ya know. The one thing I didn't like was that it was neck heavy. I'm not even sure what year mine was. It wasn't that old I know that.

That's what turns me off about SG's, this one isn't too bad though- sounds great, but I don't play it that much.

With a V and Explorer in the collection I wouldn't be playing it much either.

Looking at it again, the first thing I think of other than the one I had is Jake E. Lee's. He played one just like it in the "Shot in the Dark" video. He's always said it's too fragile to take on the road. His is an orginal 60's too.

I know mine had to be some sort of reissue or special or something because it had a TOM and stopbar tailpiece, not the wraparound like yours. I could never confirm the actual model. It was bought used and the truss rod cover just read "SG", but I think it was a Junior.

That's what turns me off about SG's, this one isn't too bad though- sounds great, but I don't play it that much.
