I found a little bit of a secret weapon for a good overdriven bass tone

Re: I found a little bit of a secret weapon for a good overdriven bass tone

I'm heard some amazing things about the Tech 21 DI though. In fact, I think my Bass Player has one, but I'm not for certain on that. Anything that has Behringer on it, I tend to be a bit skeptic, but like you said, don't be until you try it.

I live more so on the west side of Indianapolis as well, but in the Marion County area near Camby. I know not a lot of people quite know where that's at, but that's the best description I have for it.

Had a friend years ago that lived in Camby. Been a while since I've been there, but I certainly know where it is. I'm guessing what you consider your Guitar Center would be the one in Greenwood. Even though I'm on the far west side, I can still get to the Castleton store faster, plus they have more of a selection.

Glad to see a fellow Naptown resident on here.

Found one of the tracks from the studio. This is our rhythm tracks, before leads over dubs and solos. My Jackson CMG, Hartke Bass Attack pedal, Hartke Kilo through a DI and 2 mic on the cabinet (unknown 212) Im not sure how many tracks he used in the final mix.

Yeah, I've pretty much lived here for the past 12 years or so, just house and apartment hopping due to unfortunate circumstances, but I've generally lived here most of that time.

Greenwood is the one I go to. I would love to go to the Castleton one more often, but it's a bit of a drive for me. Plus I enjoy going to Sam Ash because they have a huge selection, so any time I'm in that area, I typically go there instead. I did buy my Mesa Mark V at the Castleton GC before they stopped selling them. I got it just in the knick of time before Mesa withdrew their contract. It's a shame really. That was the highlight of that store was that they sold Mesas. I don't think the Greenwood one knows what a Mesa is haha.

I'm always glad to find more people on the interwebs that live somewhat close. Makes me feel less like an outcast haha.
