I agree with the idea of building your own with Warmoth parts. You'll get one cheaper, and it'll be even more personal. But hey, if you have the dough to throw around, who am I to say?

The price is high- for $1200 I'd buy it.

But then again, for $1400 you could get an Ernie Ball Axis, which is a much better deal and should be priced above $2,000.

Well, if it floats your boat, and its a keeper then thats cool. I bought my Dean new. I know 2nd hand is cheaper but i knew from the moment i got playing i knew it was a keeper. Just felt so good. I know the price is higher in your case, but if it feels so good that you will have it forever and play it well, it makes it seem a hell of a lot cheaper.

Ya well I just couldnt let it get away.... no way in hell would I walk away from it dude NO WAY!

All I have to do now is put gauge 11 strings and im set, I cant play it through MY amp yet cause im here for summer going back to my hometown the woodlands I have to wait a whole month.

BUT I have a plan im gonna go to GC and then prettend im just checking it out like I just picked it up and then just play it... O then ill walk out holding it and itll look like i stole it. SCORE!

great idea! except for that last part. might want to rethink that last part and contemplate wether you feel like going back to guitar center or not in the next few months

nah the pointy head single hum with a vintage trem is well under $2k if you buy from a small shop and NOT one of the big online places that charge too much for them.

GC near me had a new one for 1200 in december.

That being said...it was red with a maple board and floyd...that axe was BRIGHT but OH MAN did it own, that neck was so great. The American Deluxe Tele's neck was better but the Charvel's was pretty damn nice.

i don't think tahts a basic guitar.My dream guitar is a jackson Kelly 1 and this is the finest guitar ever for me

I should care about how much it costs, but its 1800 thats the real price and I get 15 months no payment no interest and i get a 184 dollar gift card so i think thats pretty cool.

Wish i could post a picture but the last time i tried to host a photo on an image site and link it i almost lost my mind.... i'm not very good with computers..

Honestly. That Charvel is SEX. Like, I sooo want one just for band positions, as I love strats, and I generally use the bridge pickup in the band im in.. (Eg.. always..)

I can send ya photo via Email but i would never be able to post one.... Those Charvel model 1's from the 80's were cool guitars! Mine was pretty cheap as there is a chip out of the point on the headstock..... you can't really see the chip from the front of the headstock but it is there.... Besides that the guitar is like new... still has some finnish on some of the frets sides-(maple board)..... 0 fret wear and has not been fret dressed. Someone bought it, had an accident, and stored it for years before unloading it....

I'd never pay 1500 for that, and I can barely play, get a used USA Kramer, or even better there's a guy making a guitar called the Clone, and he'll do it all for you do a search in this forum for it
