i was at a local shop yesterday and when i walked in this red beauty caught my eye....i had never seen a les paul in this color before it was a red burst , no yellow in it just red over the slight flame top... i asked the sales people and they couldnt remember what the finish was called.... they thought it was "cherry something". So when i got home i checked gibsons site and the finish is called "cayenne". http://www.gibson.com/products/gibson/lespaul/images/lp5_canh.jpg
The pics on the website don't do it justice. I havent been able to stop thinking about this guitar.... it played awesome which is the most important thing too.
I have 8 electrics now but i think i am going to get rid of a couple and get this guitar

Yeah, i'd say if theres a guitar like that which grabs you by the cajones, get it... but make sure you won't regret getting rid of those guitars later....

If I am not mistaken those are new for 2004 and the colors are "limited editions". If I remember right I think they have ebony fingerboards too. Very nice...
