Tonight i had a dream about a pedal i tried. I talked to a guy who works at a local guitarshop about what tone i'm after and he said he has the right pedal for me. He went away to the warehouse(?) and came back with a yellow vintage OD pedal made by Gibson! It looked like in the picture i made below. The "guitar" and "country" on/off switches are exactly those who are on those small danelectro pedals. The other two knobs i don't remember what they did. I tried it out in the dream with a spanking new Big Muff Pi NYC.
By itself it sounded like a good warm tube amp but it didn't have any tubes(!). With the Muff i got the best metal distortion known by man! I played the Metallica song "Master of puppets" in the dream and it just floored me.
The "guitar" on/off button made a nice medium british OD sound, more Voxy than Marshall. The "country" on/off button turned the on-going OD into "country friendly". It was more mild sounding but still warm and creamy.
So my question is, does this pedal exist?
