Re: I have $600 to spend on a guitar.
We'll had a gig tonight. I went into our local music store to check out the PRS SE Singlecuts before our show of Battle Of The Bands. Pretty awesome. The sustain is everlasting and to be honest I love the pups that are in it. Only down fall, doesn't seem like it was built all that well, well the one they had instock anyways. The frets were poking out of the neck a little bit. I told them I wanted to buy it today to play our show, but I didn't want to wait on getting the frets fixed, he said he could order one now and be in by next week sometime. The other PRS I played were the same way. Except it felt like the tone and volume knobs were really loose and they were hard staying in tune in a 30 minute length of time, maybe just a factory flaw that they had. Well the SEs are a cheap guitar PRS has made, but they do look really beautiful. The one I had my eye on for $599 was the Singlecut in a Tobacco Burst Flame finish, very beautiful. So I ended up walking out the store with nothing. It was the hardest thing for me to do, but hey you need to feel comfortable with a guitar before you buy it right. So I guess I'll keep looking into more guitars more, I guess what it all comes down too, was that this thread was pretty pointless.
But, you all gave me very helpful insight on what my next guitar will be and I take it to heart. Thanks all.
