Total cans of clear used were six. I was paranoid about blow through and had to bury the glitter.
I might be able to cut that down to five or maybe even four with sanding between coats. I still had some very small and random dimples that I think I could eliminate next time.
The sanding is the leveling of the clear coat. I waited until the end to level and I think that might have been a mistake. I think I will try sanding every 3-4 passes and see how that affect the final product.
The best advice I can offer is take your time and focus on prep. I learned quite a bit and will make some changes for the next one.
