And it involves me buying a Fender HM strat neck and getting a Mahogany Soloist body from Warmoth. Now my question is, would this work? Would I be able to just pop on the neck to the body? (I know that I would need to mod the body a little because of the way the neck is screwed on.) I just love the way HM necks feel have and I've been wanting a guitar with a mahogany body soo eh, kill two birds with one stone? I've been trying to find some more info online but I can't seem to find anything. Plus I don't really want to take mine apart because knowing me, I'll mess it up and it will burst into flames somehow. :I

The HM Strats may not have been made to typical Fender specs, so the Warmoth neck may or may not work. If its a 22 fret neck it might

HM necks are 24 fret. :|
