I...just...don't...know...what...to...say.

Re: I...just...don't...know...what...to...say.

Few things are as rewarding as reading an eBay listing for something you already know gobbles crank.

You know, sometimes a "distressed" job can actually look really good. If it isn't over the top, like Lucid's #1.

But those eBay postings are just bad.

That's really funny...I wrote to him asking if he would accept an offer of $2.00 if he would throw in free shipping. He replied and said ..."yes, it sounds fair". Then he removed it from the auction. Now it's back on, but no minimum bid. Someone actually bid $50 for it so far plus $35 shipping.

Like W. G. Fields said..."There is a sucker born every day".

It is possible he is bidding on his own POS just to raise the price, but he isn't fooling anyone. Everyone knows it is a POS.

You guys are mean. I worked very hard, for 15 minutes, on this piece of art. I thought you guys would like it.

Yea the rust on that cannon looks super authentic but I think I would have something a bit smaller for my #1. Oh and the guitar is nice as well

Re: I...just...don't...know...what...to...say.

an odd gamble on his part - or, he made it for himself and decided to see if he could get a king's ransom for it on a whim. my prediction: he'll probably end up selling it locally for what he put into it.

The price of a can of lighter fluid?

These "distressed" finishes kill me especially when it was done by an "experienced luthier". It looks like his skills consist of throwing it into the fireplace for 10 minutes. Well, maybe 5.

I just saw the winning bids on both of these guitars. I don't even want to tell you guys. Look at the auctions. Is this a joke? Could he have rigged this somehow? I just don't see how??????????????????????????????????

No joke I really liked the guitar so I grabbed it. I am now in talks with the artist to relic my 77 Chevy Vega.

I'm calling BS on the seller's part. I am just in disbelief someone is that stupid.

If legit, shame on the buyer for not doing their homework before buying.

oh god... Just buy an epiphone and dip it in mud. With this appearance, i actually wouldn't care how the hell it plays... Call me shallow. Actually if it played really well, i would strip that butt-ugly finish right off, and refinish it in a metallic flip-color using an automotive spray can.
