I just got to try Strats + British voice crunch for the first time.

It is actually very difficult for me to ever test drive a valve amp for me because of what music stores around home do have but yesterday I tried this little 15 watt Orange head into a 1x12 cab with a Celestion Vintage 30, I pulged a strat with single coils. Wowo, I was really blown away, I really enjoy the combination of the rich tone of single coils into the thick and crunchy tone of the Orange, and lowering the volume makes clean up nice. Clean definitly not as nice Fender amp (I already tried a Hot Rod Delux iii in this store) but the crunch was way better, very thick! It really made me forget about using humbuckers with high gain, this tone is sweet! Note separation in chords, amazing lead tone, pure tone heaven.

I always watch the Latin Music Awards, and notice that all the gear is top notch, so I assume it's all furnished directly through endorsements. I've been to Latin American countries, and the music stores are bleak.....nada.

You're right about single coils working well with Orange amps, and British amps in general. It fills out the mids, while the scooped singles retain ultimate clarity.
My two favorite Latin rock guitar players are Sergio Vallin and Walter Giardino. Walter's strat/Marshall tone is beautiful......same formula as Richie Blackmore and Yngwie.

fenders and marshalls have sounded great together since marshalls were invented. Its about the most obvious combination there is.
