They are a bit steep though, most of the ones I have seen were $500-$800.

Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!Skarekrough said:The market's getting weird though. Something's happening. I'm not sure if it's just folks are revolting against Gibson or what. But the prices are on the rise for them.

I have heard great things about All three (Edwards, Greco & Burny), I'd be happy with any of those, do the Greco's and Burny's have the long tenon etc. too?
If I got that guitar, the LP studio would become my "beater" guitar for sure, even though it's more expensive!!!
Thames said:Ok... I have to add a word here... being the proud owner of an Edwards !
1200$ is quite high for a replica that is relatively "young" (no "mojo" yet, unlike Tokai and such). BUT, come back to me when you'll find a Gibson with 1-piece body, highly flamed maple top, seymour duncan pickups, deluxe Gotoh tuners and Gotoh hardware, and, last but not least, long neck tenon. In terms of tone, it is equivalent or better than the best standard production LPs.
And speaking of resale value... they are going up and up! I paid mine 390$ + 100$ shipping.. :fing25: I can *easily* sell it back for 600$ min + shipping. But dont dream, its not for sale :evil:utahere:
Id be very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very stupid to sell it...
And I dont need anymore the Gibson brandname on headstock to cherrish a guitar.
A new Gibby looks even worse.....The finishes look crappy on those two guitars.
Personally, I wouldn't spend that kind of dough on one.
