I think it was Ace Frehley who said "With a Marshall, or a Laney, or any good English amp - and a Les Paul, the sound is just there"
So, how is it? You're more patient than I am.
As far as the vent - put it face down on a scrap of vinyl or leather, and give it a couple hits with a rubber mallet.
Good as new.
I've been sooo slammed with work, taking care of my elderly parents, recording with some friends, some crazy b!tch, and drinking whisky to forget all of the aforementioned that I honestly haven't been able to. As I stated earlier, I jammed it through my Vintage 30 cabinet, and something just sounded awry. It's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I'm going to run it through some of my other cabinets and see how I feel about it. So far, after just running it through just one cabinet, I really wasn't impressed, and it just didn't sound right. However, maybe it'll sound different and better through my other cabinets. It just had this kind of no gain flubby tone to it when I first played it. It didn't sound anything like the videos that I listened to while researching it.holy thread resurection batman I'mjust seeing if you got that. thing humming to your liking yet ?
