A real Gibson explorer . I believe from late 90s early 2000s. Look at the pictures. It has 3 somewhat clean breaks . The neck and neck joint look fine to me. Before I spend the time to glue it back together I’ll see if someone will take on the challenge of fixing it so I don’t have to . Sold as is

$1000 for a smashed in pieces Explorer husk. What informed that pricepoint? it's hard to imagine.

Yea I could see like $200 but $1000 is nutz. Two splits in the body and it looks to be in primer.
Could make a cool mod platform. Rattle can paint job beater but not at that price.

You missed the tailpiece holes are filled already. My guess is this one hides a lot more problems.

If you look closely, they mapped out the routing for a Kahler. My guess is that halfway through the project, they saw the new prices for the Kahlers and smashed the guitar in rage.

How does one damage a guitar that badly? Did the tour bus roll over it or something? Like, I could see maybe cracking the neck by accident . . . but that amount of body damage looks like it took a dedicated hand to achieve.
