I must be a Fender guy

Re: I must be a Fender guy

Kudos on the HH Strat, looks like something Dave Murray would have with that perloid scratchplate.

But as a previous poster said: 'Tell us about the tele with the two Strat pickups.

butnut, I always dug your collection. I really dig your JV...I wanted a white one and I was gonna do the same guardplate, but when I went to buy one, the black one sounded the best, so I passedon the white one. Yours looks great! What have you done to it?

I wish I had your pewter tele, and the zebras in your sunburst strat is giving me a similar idea. That pedalboard is sweeeeet!

Thanks. A mild relic on the finish...The big change was the Lace Holy Grail pups. Nice Strat bell tones that keep the jangle nicely with some gain...to me, the perfect Strat tone. Those are aged Tele knobs, heavy knurl for swells easy. I did put in a TailFeather trem lock. It's very light and seems to bring out sustain...stays in tune too!
