i need an aspirin!!!

Re: i need an aspirin!!!

Beware any amp with an LCD readout on it. That's rule number one.

I felt that way a bit, with my Rivera. The toen controls were so interactive and sensitive, I felt like I was always sitting around tweaking the damn thing. So, I sold it. The new Two Rock has a lot of switches, but they're mastered quickly. And, all the sounds are excellent. No matter where you're dialed in.

Good luck. I felt the same way about my little Boss digital 4 track recorder. Too many menus and submenus. Pain in the rear.

LOL, this is the exact reason (other than that I felt it was "sterilizing" my tone) that I booted my rack years ago.. I feel for you, bro :D:D:D

Re: i need an aspirin!!!

yeah...i feel like it's a huge rack that's been mashed into one unit! that's it exactly!

i'm gonna concentrate on tweaking a good acoustic setting for it right now with just the right amount of chorus & reverb and leave the rest for discovering with the Tele when it comes.

you're right Scott...the Rivera's do seem to have quite a few knobs, but when you look at it...it's because of the multiple channels really, of course then there's the ninja boost, the mid scoop, the switch that cuts the power in half, etc... :smack: ...lol...it still doesn't hold a candle to this peavey though!
