I need help deciding the ideal pickups for my guitar.

I rencently purchased a gibson explorer knockoff, that is rather nice, it is a set neck, made of mahogany, and I would like to know what pickupin the neck would compliment a dimebucker in the bridge?
I was leaning towards a jb jazz 2
or a '59 classic

any ideas?
any other ones besides those??

I've never changed stock pickups before.
