I need help identifying some parts on a "Tom Delonge" Strat

I've looked through all the diagrams and such on Fender's website, and I'd like to try all my other options before I make a long distance phone call to Fender. So...

Does anyone know what profile the neck is? It's thinner than my Standard Strat by a tad. Or how do I measure it so I can have another neck made to these specs?

Also does anyone know what fret wire they used? I think it's medium-jumbo but I'm not positive

Thanks

i'm pretty sure the neck is just a typical shape strat neck but with a large headstock. as for fretwire it does have med jumbo frets.

The neck is definitely thinner than my other strat. not the same shape either, its not perfecly round, almost flat in the middle

What's your "other Strat?" If it's a standard, "medium C" profile, 9.25" radius fretboard then the TD may actually be a little rounder on top according to these specs:

MY other Strat is indeed just a Standard Mexican Strat

So if I wanted to make a duplicate of this neck what specs would I need to relay ?

Re: I need help identifying some parts on a "Tom Delonge" Strat

The Delonge is part of the higher end Mexican Deluxe series that included the Deluxe Players Strat, and the Powerhouse Strat, I'm pretty sure they all use the same neck (different headstock) as they were the onlt Mex models featuring the medium jumbo frets at the time the Delonge was in production. Sorry, I know that doesn't give you exact specs, but its the best I can do. I suggest using an internet archive on-line to check archived versions of Fender's website and maybe you'll find the old Delonge specs page still stored there. Good guitars by-the-way, good luck.

The MIM deluxe series used Medium Jumbos also! Also, necks can vary here and there a bit! Another .010 of sanding can make all the difference! Its probally the same thing just a subtle difference!
