Re: I now received my new axe

I sent the guitar to my Luthier buddy to set up with low action. Needless to say the guitar played well right from the plant. Really like the HDR system its like having two sets of pickups, like the passive and having active at the push of a button. When its in active it has some good bite . The quality of the guitar is impressive , the ergo neck is comfortable and quick . the cut-out in the back of the body is quite shaved off so the guitar rests up against the body nicely. The whammy bar was set up in the down position if I decide to use it. When I was playing you could just use the palm of your hand to make it have the same effects. The case is top notch and would be good for use in most conditions for transport for most people. This guitar is a keeper for sure and will be in my hands for many years to come. The tones that come out of this guitar is very good the junior pickup really digs in in the passive mode. The HDR really works its not a gimmick. All the pickups good. The differences that have been made in the last couple of years of tweaking this guitar is really a nice touch. Godin has another winner with this guitar its up there with the best of them for sure. Oh by the way its the Godin Progression Plus.
