You want killer tone in your bedroom, but NOT a practice amp? Uh, if I were in your shoes I'd get a Vox Delta Blues (is it vox?), etc, but why do you not want a practice amp for the bedroom? Aren't things going to get a wee bit loud in there?

Well i have no idea what you should get in that case!
Maybe a tube amp with less watts so you can push it harder, making it sound more tubey.

Go with any Engl amp. They will sound tighter and more tubey than any of the Mesa Rectos.

If you get a combo you have the option to do low volume stuff and gig if you need to do. Plus with all the modules they have you'd have plenty of tone options from one all-tube amp! And apparently they sound pretty good... I can't wait to test one at some point.

Depends on what type of music you play???
I know a DSL-50 can sound pretty good a low volume, but also have the goods when you hit the stage. Find one used and save half your $$$.
